Bafana Bafana top AFCON qualifying group with Uganda victory

JOHANNESBURG – Bafana Bafana went top of Group K following a 2-0 victory over Uganda in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match in Kampala on Friday.
Thapelo Morena and Patrick Maswanganyi scored the goals in a game that the visitors dominated.
Both teams qualified for the continental showpiece on Thursday after South Sudan beat Congo.
Bafana Bafana will play South Sudan in Cape Town on 19 November in the final round of qualifying matches.
